Wow, what a horrid weekend. I was nothing but LAZY! I also ate way too much. I don’t really know what happened. I had some of my planned workout day screwed up, because I forgot about a tennis lesson on Wednesday and it threw the rest of the week into oblivion. Then instead of being motivated to go to the club on Saturday….I decided to take a long 2 1/2 hour nap. The rest of the day I just had no energy to do a darned thing.
Well, it was THAT time of the month too, so that had an effect on my motivation. I never feel like doing anything when it feels like my insides are all twisted up in knots. I seem to cycle every 2 1/2- 3 weeks and it’s pretty painful for about 3 days. Over the weekend I temporarily gained almost 5 pounds. I knew some of it would disappear before weigh in day when the bloat simmered down, but I was still kind of worried…especially since my weigh in day is being moved up a day to Tuesday from Wednesday.
I gained. I didn’t gain horribly though. I can live with it.I was less than a pound….just barely, but still way better than the 2 or 3 pounds I thought it would be.
So my starting weight for the Summer 15 Challenge is….
I case you are wondering….The Summer 15 Challenge is a challenge that was put up by the PlusSizeBloggers. We start today on 6/15/2010 and for 12 weeks we are blogging every Tuesday about our weigh in. The challenge ends on 9/7/2010. You have to blog every Tuesday (you get 2 passes for missing I think), and you have to strive to lose 15 pounds in that 12 weeks. At the end of the challenge, if you stuck it out and blogged every week, you get placed in a drawing for some fitness goodies!
It’s going to be a tough 12 weeks. I just don’t lose the weight as quickly as I did for the first 45 pounds lost. 15 would be 1/3 of what I currently need to lose. I am going to give it my best shot though!!!!!

This week my goals are…
#1 hit green on my Gruve at least 3 times. this will entail remembering to wear it when I change clothes!!!! I missed my goal last week since I did this twice…on my most active days no less!!!
#2 continue to drink lots of water. It’s getting important since the heat and humidity makes me sweat so much more. I actually had my first leg cramp since I was pregnant last night. It’s no fun. The number 1 cause for muscle cramps is dehydration!
Here’s the agenda for the week.
Monday (yesterday) – kick boxing in the am, cardio tennis in the pm.
Tuesday – 2hrs tennis in the am. Walking the track in the pm.
Wednesday – c25k run and bike and upper body weights in am, cardio tennis in the pm
Thursday – 2hrs tennis in the am, walking the track in the pm.
Friday – c25k run and bike and upper body weights in am
Saturday – weights at gym and bike in am
Sunday – headed to Cedar Point…..lots and lots of walking!
(Sunday will be a challenge food wise….there just isn’t many healthy options at amusement parks…I’ll be packing snacks!)
