No….Not purge like that. This is all about a healthy lifestyle change. lol
Yesterday, I cleaned out my closet and dresser. I bagged up 4 trash bags full of obese sized clothing. Four bags of mens XXL shirts and pant, 40″ + waisted pants and shorts. Getting rid of them all except one pair of jeans to keep as a reminder. I’ll be donating them to Purple Heart. I am just happy to get them all cleaned out.
I had to buy some “transition clothing” for the mean time, but my “normal” sized clothing isn’t far off. I still have 40-45 pounds to lose, but I am on a mission, and focusing on the next 5 pounds. My next milestone is to get under 200 and I am so close that I can just feel it. I just need to continue to bust my ass on 2 workouts a day, and remember to drink plenty of water and it will only be a couple weeks!
So this is how the past week went….
My weigh i was blown. It was THAT time of month. I am not concerned at all. I only weighed a couple pounds more, and totally expected it. This week we’ll be back on track.
My eating habits are getting better. When I need a quick snack, I have some kashi cereal and granola bars to help tide me over without all the unnatural crap. Lots of fruit is coming into the market lately. Grapes are looking good, and strawberries have been ginormous!
I still have my fruit/Nuriche smoothie in the mornings. I’ve been using vanilla almond milk, and I love it!
I haven’t been snacking as much in the late evenings. This week, I did wander off the path a little, but I am back at it. Nights are rough. I am up late on the computer and feel the need to munch on something.
My exercise routine is pretty solid still. I pretty much exercise twice a day still. Mornings are at the health club working out or playing tennis. Evenings are when I use the Wii. Right now I am working on the 30 Day Challenge on the EA Sports Active. I am a little over half way.
I have worked out one way or another even on my rest days….well except for tonight. Today was a total lazy day. I don’t have many of them anymore, but it felt really good not to worry about cleaning house or anything. I got to sleep in, and later in the day even took a nap! haha. No guilt here. ![]()
I’ll be back to the grind tomorrow.
I received my Earth Footwear sandals this week. i have been wearing them around the last couple days. They are a lot more comfortable than I expected and actually compliment my higher arches. I haven’t noticed them working the leg muscles more, but I don’t do a lot of heavy walking with sandals. The real test will be when I get the sneakers in on Tuesday, and wear them when walking the kids to school and back. That’s a 1/2 mile one way!
Goals for the upcoming week….
-drink more water
-no late night snacking
-keep on track with the EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge.

OMG…you are almost under 200, huh? That is GREAT! Where is your waistline? When you get it below 35 inches you are no longer at high risk for things like diabetes, heart disease, etc. Your health will have greatly improved. I’m so excited for you! XXOO

2 workouts a day; I wish I had your stamina and your determination.
Keep rocking it, girl!
Wow…you are ROCKIN’! When you get to that level, it doesn’t feel right NOT doing your workouts. Have a great time on Tuesday walking with your kids…what a “sneaky great” way to get in exercise! Looking forward to your next super news! :O)

It must have felt wonderful to get rid of all those clothes that do not fit and give them to a good cause too. Way to go! I still admire you for getting two workouts in each day! Have a great week!
