So I have hit the half way mark with my weight loss. There aren’t many photos of me at my heaviest. I avoided the camera like the plague. I am usually the behind the lens so not too many photos of me anyway. Well at the end of this post, I have a treat for you. you can see my before and after….so far!
I have been drinking plenty of water this week. My smoothies have been sustaining me in the mornings. I have a small lunch, and a sensible dinner most days. Snacks have all been healthy, fruit, veggies, Kashi cereal or granola bars.
Exercise has been twice a day most days. Tennis or gym workout in the mornings, and Wii Sports Active in the afternoons. You can follow my 30 day challenge in my other posts. I am just about 1/2 way done!
Sunday, I walked six miles in downtown Detroit for March of Dimes. It was great fun, and I was ready to walk more when I was done! I felt great! Wet, but great….it was a damp, rainy morning, and I am paying the price today as my sinuses are all clogged up and the cold medicine has me all loopy.
This week I will continue with my 30 day challenge. I will continue drinking lots of water. I will continue pushing my activity to the max. i hit green on my Gruve 5 of the 7 days. The 6th day was close, but not quite there.
I know I may have a back slide on my weigh in on Wednesday. It’s THAT time of month though so it will be whatever it is, and next week will be back to normal. I’m good with that.
So anyway, here’s my before and after comparison. Let me know what you think.

Most days I workout twice. When I play tennis for 2 hours, it’s more fun that I don’t even consider it a workout really. It’s a great workout without feeling like one!
That being said, today, I only worked out once. I am fighting a head cold. blah.

I skipped the EASactive today. This head cold got the best of me, and I was zoned out on cold medicine for most of the day. Tomorrow I will be back at it though.
Holy moly, there is a difference. You are doing great Tracy. Don’t fret over the weigh-in on Wednesday if you know you have done what you could and aunt flo is coming for a visit. Be pragmatic, overall you are doing fantastic.
